“Who shall pull the Sword from the Stone, is the Rightful King of England”
This is the inscription fronting a mysterious stone, in the oldest section of Merlin’s enchanted forest. Young Guenevere, who is destined to one day marry King Arthur, has ventured out on a cold December night, and discovered the secret. After cleaning off a fresh blanket of snow, she decides to test the resolve of steel within granite.
Before an audience of woodland creatures, she gives the Sword Excalibur a mighty tug, and it is suddenly free in her hands.
The question is: should she put the sword back, and let Arthur pull it out in due time?
